Thank you for your interest in my courses and workshops. After a brief absence from teaching, I’m back with more enthusiasm than ever. As I continue my own learning process with the medium of watercolor, I am thrilled to continue passing on acquired knowledge and practiced skills in all of the mediums I use: graphite, pen & ink, scratchboard, acrylics and watercolor.
You can now pay for a course or workshop using PayPal! How easy is that? If you prefer, you still have the option to download the registration form and mail it to me along with a check.
If you have any questions about these offerings please call or email me. 2010 Summer/Fall offerings will be coming soon.

| As a continuation of Drawing Basics, this course is designed to focus on composition and the art of “filtering”. Learn how to compose a drawing properly, as well as how to sift through unnecessary visual information to create a clean and engaging image. This is a comprehensive course that will include homework assignments in an effort to provide structure outside of the classroom. Some outdoor lessons will take place during the second half of the course, weather permitting. |
Do you wrestle with all of those angles and perspective problems that come with drawing? In this mini-course, we'll deal with perspective on a large scale. Even if drawing buildings is not a passion of yours, consider that what you can learn from focusing on this topic for a short time will expand your knowledge of both linear and atmospheric perspective, not to mention composition. Some basic drawing experience will be expected.
NOTE: This is intended to be a mainly outdoor class so please be flexible with your schedule. If the weather is not agreeable for outdoor drawing we may need to reschedule the class for a different day or time of day. |
