This is not your typical house portrait (unless that's what you want!). If you are thinking of preserving your home in a painting, consider showing some other features of your estate other than the traditional frontal view. Perhaps your favorite location on the property would be more meaningful. Some other suggestions are: your favorite view looking out from the inside; a spot where you have created something that brings you great pleasure; or even the street or neighborhood where it is located. A collection of paintings in a series can be done, each showing a different spot on your property. I can come to your home and spend a day, working on views that you have suggested, or allow me to wander and decide what to paint in that moment.

Consider a portrait for each season. In this case, four different locations could be chosen to show. The finished image(s) can be turned into Custom Note Cards or holiday cards as part of the package!

My medium is watercolor. Graphite pencils or pen & ink can be added to the painting as well. My style is somewhat loosely rendered drawings but still influenced by my training as a Natural Science Illustrator.
